b3p
b3p is a blade modelling toolset maintained by blade3.
It is designed with the following targets in mind:
- Creating production-ready blade models with smooth geometry and full laminate plan detail
- Compact parameterisation of laminate plans
- Meshing/draping robustness to allow optimization with geometry and laminate parameters
- Integration with state of the art open source solvers
Currently b3p is in a basic but working state, where beam properties can be extracted using anba_v4 and 3D solutions can be created using calculix.
We work with commercial and academic partners on the following topics:
- Validation of outputs using (commercial) solvers
- Integrating additional solvers (like code_aster)
